Kylie was born in the first Choc Ice litter, as number four out of eight, daughter of my two founders. Already before she was born, I had decided that I wanted to retain a Chocolate Roan bitch so I was delighted when she came out! The name Kylie was also already decided, one of the reasons being that I don't want ordinary names for my dogs.
So, could things get better? Apparently, they could. Kylie was quite successful at shows, especially considering I didn't show very often nor had a great desire to win. The pinnacle was without a doubt when she won Best Bitch with CAC and CACIB at the Svenska Kennelklubben's big final show of the year; she also got her Winner's title at the same time, only 18 months old. I still cannot understand how that happened.
Kylie had a very gentle way; always up for a cuddle (with most people) and she like to play with her IKEA rat, which she carried around in her mouth. She possessed many of the true Cocker working abilities such as being responsive and eager to please, but she was a bit too loud.
Kylie had two litter: the first one was born in the summer of 2005 and the second one in the autumn of 2007. She took very good care of her little ones, but at the same time was too overprotective of them. Three years later she was retired from breeding and showing and went to live with the mother of one of my friends.
